Medusa let us know just how happy she was to pose for these photos by giving a very intimidating hisssss. But just look at her! Boasting a fuchia/rose pattern, shes a stunner that will produce some very nice offspring after a few more months of grow out. Some of her favorite pasttimes beyond yelling at the camera include hangout upside down. And look at those eyes!

ANIMAL CARE
Animal care is paramount to being successful with this species. While there are extensive care sheets online for this species, and we will happily work with you to set up your own terrarium, these are the basic 5 parameters for Uroplatus phantasticus:
Daylight: Approximately 12 hours per day of good quality daylight provided by LED
UV: Approximately 8-10 hours per day of UVB provided by 5.0 UV T5 lights
Heat: Phants like a temperature slightly warmer than normal room temperature, with daytime temperatures of 72-78 and nighttime temperatures between 60-65.
Rainfall: These animals love a good misting right after their lights come on in the morning, and right after their lights go off in the evening. A programmable mister is the easiest way to achieve this.
Humidity: These are a tropical species that like high humidity, between 60-80% with a slight raise at night. We recommend a programmable fogger to achieve their required humidity.

3. Depending on the weather in both your location and ours, we provide hot or cool packs at no additonal charge to maintain enviromentally appropriate conditions for your animal.
4. In working with you, we determine the best date for shipping and arrival for prompt pickup
5. We ship your new animal to you so that it can enjoy it's new home! Of course, we also provide a tracking number to ensure you can see exactly when it arrives!
